DISSECTION Set Release Date For Live Album
October 18, 2002DISSECTION's much-anticipated live album, titled "Live Legacy", will finally see the light of day on February 17 through Nuclear Blast Records. Recorded at Wacken Festival 1996 in Wacken, Germany, the album will include live renditions of such DISSECTION classics as "The Somberlain", "Thorns Of Crimson Death", "Frozen", "Where Dead Angels Lie", "Unhallowed", and "Retribution – Storm Of The Lights Bane".
DISSECTION guitarist/vocalist Jon Nödtveit is currently working on new material at his Swedish prison cell (where he's serving a sentence for a murder conviction) and is planning on recording a new studio album next year for a 2004 release through Nuclear Blast. The drum tracks on the as-yet-untitled effort will be performed by ex-EMPEROR drummer Bård "Faust" Eithun, who is awaiting release in December after spending nine years and four months in prison for murdering a homosexual man.
